Sherri Malloy joined the Forrest Firm in March of 2018, taking the role of Paralegal at the firm’s Charlotte location.
In her role as as a Paralegal, Sherri provides support to the firm’s attorneys, setting new standards for professionalism and responsiveness for the benefit of our clients and creating a more sustainable working environment for our attorneys. Sherri handles document preparation, management of various client documents and deadlines, and assists firm attorneys in general corporate matters, as well as specific needs of attorneys in the firm’s financial services, intellectual property, and litigation practice areas.
Ms. Malloy has worked as a paralegal for 14 years prior to joining the Forrest Firm. Sherri began her legal career in 2004 at the Chicago-based Chitkowski Law Offices, supporting attorneys and clients in the area of corporate law. In 2006, she moved to the Chicago firm of Ice Miller LLP, continuing to work in corporate law, as well as matters of corporate litigation. In 2015, she joined construction law firm Laurie & Brennan, LLP, also as a paralegal.
Relocating to North Carolina in 2016, Sherri joined the Charlotte office of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP, working again in corporate law. In 2017, she joined Johnston Allison & Hord, PA, working on corporate matters.
Sherri Malloy earned her paralegal certification in 2003 from Loyola University of Chicago. She received an associate of arts degree from the College of Lake County in 1999.
