Attorney Thomas A. Worth joined the Forrest Firm through the firm’s merger with the Worth Law Firm of Greensboro.

Tom has practiced law in North Carolina, as well as before multiple state and federal courts, for the last 35 years. A member of the Tax Law, Business Law and Estate Planning Sections of the North Carolina Bar Association, Tom focuses his practice on corporate and transactional law, tax law, tax controversies, conservation easements, estate planning and estate administration.

During more than three decades of practice, Tom has developed deep experience and acumen in tax law related to conservation easements. He regularly lectures on tax and estate planning matters, and he has provided technical manuscripts on conservation easements to educational programs sponsored by the North Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina State University, and various land trusts across the state.

Tom regularly assists non-profit organizations and has served on the boards of directors for the National Committee for the New River and the High Lonesome Strings Bluegrass Association.
