Attorney Stephanie Fields joined the Forrest Firm’s Durham office in September of 2018. She advises entrepreneurs and executives in a wide range of legal matters pertinent to every stage of the business life cycle, with particular emphasis on the needs of early-stage companies, including entity formation, venture financings, and governance.
Stephanie arrived at the Forrest Firm after earning her law degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, on the heels of eight years of service as a legal administrative assistant and paralegal at Triangle-area law firms.
While in law school, Stephanie gained valuable experience in the life sciences sector at Chiesi USA, as well as fellowships with area startup incubators NC IDEA, Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network, and Kickstart Venture Services at UNC.
Stephanie Fields received a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2010 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2012, she earned paralegal certification from UNC’s Friday Center, and in 2018, she received a juris doctor degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
Ms. Fields is licensed to practice law in the state of North Carolina, where she is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association.
