Maria Bacon joined the Forrest Firm in August of 2018, taking the role of Client Intake and Services Specialist in the firm’s Durham office.
In her role at the firm, Maria provides operational support to the firm’s attorneys, setting new standards for professionalism and responsiveness for the benefit of Forrest Firm clients across the state of North Carolina.
Prior to joining the Forrest Firm, Maria served in client service and operations roles at Durham’s Dova Pharmaceuticals and Coleman Research in Raleigh. She enjoys the relational component of client service and likes finding new ways to best serve both clients and colleagues.
Maria Bacon is a 2015 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned bachelor of arts degrees in Global Studies and Asian studies. She is currently working toward a master’s degree in Christian Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest.
Maria is an active member and volunteer at Durham’s Summit Church, and in her spare time enjoys spending time with family and friends, and attempting to learn how to cook.
