John Lindsey, in his of-counsel role at the Forrest Firm, works with companies on matters related to corporate transactions, trademark and copyright protection, and mergers and acquisitions.
John has spent more than 20 years advising companies on corporate legal matters in diverse areas such as international trade, contracts, employment law, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, private securities offerings, immigration law, and commercial real estate transactions.
After beginning his career working at the United States International Trade Commission, John entered private practice in the District of Columbia and North Carolina, including stints at several Washington-area firms. John began his corporate law practice in North Carolina at the Durham firm of Daniels Daniels & Verdonik. Since 2005, John has served as corporate counsel to a pair of telecommunications firms, advising the senior management team on a variety of corporate strategic and risk management areas of national scope.
