For more than 30 years, Andy has worked as a litigator, resolving disputes for clients of the firm across a host of industries. In addition to his trial work, Andy also focuses on other forms of risk management, including dispute resolution, litigation avoidance, and claim/case handling.

During his career, Andy has taken over 200 trials to jury verdicts. Andy is also a Certified Superior Court Mediator, and he has mediated more than 600 cases in that role.

Andy began his legal career at the former Golding Meekins Law Firm in Charlotte, specializing in the defense of medical and other professional malpractice cases, along with a variety of other cases involving serious injury, death, or significant damages. In 1996, he joined three other attorneys in a boutique firm, Crews & Klein, adding construction law litigation and mediations to his practice. In 2003, Andy moved to the Charlotte branch of the McNair Law Firm as a litigator and shareholder. While at McNair, he built his practice across multiple areas of the law, representing clients in disputes related to business and commercial entities, along with complicated injury or death disputes, construction, and insurance issues.

Andy has been recognized as a Super Lawyer in North Carolina, Best Lawyers in America, and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating given by Martindale-Hubbell.
