The Forrest Firm’s Martha Bradley hosted the firm’s latest lunch and learn event for entrepreneurs yesterday at Asheville’s Collider, on the topic of persuasive pitching to investors and clients.
The event, “Perfect Your Pitch—A Lawyer’s Tips on Persuasive Speaking,” took place at the Collider, located on the fourth floor at 1 Haywood Street in downtown Asheville. The public event was aimed at helping attendees improve their company pitches to specific audiences, including potential clients and customers, strategic partners, and angel and venture investors.
In her practice at the Forrest Firm, Martha routinely counsels entrepreneurs and startup executives on growth and risk management strategies. “Part of helping businesses grow is giving pitch guidance and feedback that comes from exposure to dozens of great entrepreneur pitches every year,” said Bradley. “I’ve taken a special interest in helping startups in this way, since I enjoy speaking to the public on behalf of the firm, and it can add value to the attorney-client relationship we enjoy.”
