Forrest Firm, StoolDuel Sponsor ExitEvent’s Wilmington Startup Social

The Forrest Firm, a certified B corporation and one of North Carolina’s fastest-growing law firms for businesses, is proud to sponsor ExitEvent’s upcoming Startup Social in Wilmington, in conjunction with firm client StoolDuel.

The November 8 event at the Might as Well Bar & Grill on Racine Drive will kick off the Connect Conference of the Festival. Running in the Port City for the 23rd year, the Cucalorous Festival is one of the South’s largest film festivals. Cucalorous celebrates both film and stage productions, including dance, and serves as a connection point for creative entrepreneurs and the startup ecosystem of the Cape Fear Region with the Connect portion of the festival. This year’s event, which will run from November 8-12, will screen more than 300 films and should attract more than 17,000 fans and industry professionals.

The Startup Social brings together entrepreneurs, investors, and students. Event producer ExitEvent, an American Underground partner based in Durham, provides news, information, and tools that emerging companies and smart investors need to grow their businesses. The publication covers North Carolina’s major metro markets in the Piedmont, as well as Wilmington and Asheville.

Forrest Firm client and startup social co-sponsor StoolDuel is a free, app-based loyalty and rewards program. Available at the Google Play store for Android devices, StoolDuel helps bars, restaurants, taverns, and clubs build their businesses by allowing patrons to check in, play games, and earn loyalty points redeemable for rewards like discounted and free food, gift cards, and novelty items.
