Forrest Firm Announces Leadership Team for 2020

Forrest Firm is pleased to announce its new leadership team for 2020.  “We have grown faster than I could have ever envisioned since 2014 based on our commitment to client service,” firm founder James Forrest said. “With eight offices across the state, now is the time for us to renew our commitment to providing qualitatively-excellent legal work to our clients, as well as a sustainable professional environment for our professionals – and strong leadership is key.”

Executive Management Team

Effective January 2, 2020, Andy Jones joined Forrest as the second shareholder in the firm.

Jones, a business lawyer and litigator, is not new to firm leadership. Over the past year, he has led the Wilmington and Charlotte offices as Managing Attorney, in addition to providing strategic direction in key firm priorities.  Jones will serve as president of the firm and Forrest will serve as CEO.

“Andy has proven to be a valuable member of our firm, and I’m excited to welcome him as a shareholder,” Forrest explained. “Andy embodies our firm’s core values of dedication to clients, a healthy work culture, and giving back to our communities.  We look forward to his continued contributions in his new role.”

“We have experienced some incredible growth at Forrest Firm since I joined in 2017,” Jones said.  “I am thankful that the firm has entrusted me with this new role, and I look forward to helping guide the firm’s future, while continuing to meet the needs of my clients on a daily basis.”

In 2020, the executive management team will focus on expanding strategic business development efforts, making key hires across the state, and strengthening the firm’s operational functions.

Practice Group Leaders

This year the firm is also launching practice group leadership in each of the firm’s six key practice areas. These attorneys will focus on practice-specific initiatives to ensure the firm’s practice groups are coordinated in their efforts statewide.

  • Commercial Real Estate Co-Practice Group Leaders – Jason Pfister / Patrick Lineberry
  • Corporate Co-Practice Group Leaders – Adam Goldblatt / John Love
  • Employment Law Practice Group Leader – Leslie Lasher
  • Estate Planning Practice Group Leader – Cory Howes
