Eidson and Murphey Join Forrest Firm

In an effort to ensure that our clients are served thoroughly and efficiently, the Forrest Firm continues to grow over the summer! This month we welcomed Debra Eidson and Nicole Murphey to our Durham and Charlotte offices, respectively.
In Debra Eidson’s of counsel role at Forrest Firm, she provides counsel to financial institutions and small businesses regarding lending, compliance, corporate matters, contract review and real estate.
Prior to joining the Forrest Firm, Eidson spent ten years as in-house counsel for a prominent community development financial institution, focusing on commercial lending, real estate, tax-exempt organizations law and compliance matters. She has experience with a wide range of issues related to nonprofit organizations and community development.
Eidson is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and received both her bachelor’s degree and juris doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Nicole Murphey focuses her legal practice on business needs, including commercial contracts and employment law.
Prior to joining Forrest Firm, Murphey practiced with an international law firm where she assisted global corporations, SMEs, and entrepreneurs with commercial transactions and employment matters. She has extensive experience working with multinational corporations, guiding both in-house counsel and external teams through complex dealings.
Murphey received her bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University and completed her juris doctor at North Carolina Central University School of Law.
