We are pleased to announce the establishment of the Transportation & Logistics Practice Group at Forrest Firm.
“Our attorneys have long represented transportation and logistics clients on a variety of legal issues,” noted Andy Jones, managing attorney for the Firm’s Charlotte and Wilmington offices. “However, as our clients’ needs increase and the legal issues facing the transportation industry continue to evolve, we thought it the right time to formalize this practice group at the Firm, which will enable us to expand our full-service capabilities with an industry focus.”
Members of the Transportation & Logistics practice advise transportation clients on contract management, regulatory compliance, insurance/risk management practices, cargo claims management, and labor and employment issues. In addition to proactive counseling and regulatory advice, our attorneys also represent clients in transportation-related litigation matters in state and federal courts, including cargo claims, insurance coverage issues, and broker liability claims.
“The transportation industry is the backbone of the American economy,” said Forrest Firm founder James Forrest. “As our firm continues to grow, we look forward to expanding our capacity to support the legal needs of shippers, motor carriers, property brokers, and others working in the supply chain.”
