Keith E. Richardson

Attorney Keith Richardson joined the Forrest Firm’s Raleigh office in January of 2018, after spending the previous eight years representing small to large companies in a variety of litigation matters.

In his role at the Forrest Firm, Mr. Richardson has joined the firm’s litigation practice, representing clients in commercial and business litigation, including disputes regarding contracts, business, employment, real estate, taxation, and other areas of risk management. Keith represents clients at every stage of the dispute resolution process, from pre-trial negotiations to civil and commercial litigation. He zealously represents his clients with the highest integrity and tact. Keith focuses not only on understanding the minute details of each case, but also on understanding his clients’ businesses and their financial objectives.

Mr. Richardson joined the Forrest Firm from one of the largest regional litigation firms in the southeastern U.S., McAngus Goudelock and Courie. At MGC, Keith spent the last six years representing large national insurance carriers and employers in workers’ compensation litigation involving traumatic injuries, permanent and total disability claims, occupational diseases, and repetitive motion disorders. Keith continues to represent a small amount of select clients in workers’ compensation litigation.

Keith Richardson earned a bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in Political Science in 2006 from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. In 2009, he earned his juris doctor degree from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia. During law school, Mr. Richardson served as the Chairman of Regent’s nationally-ranked Moot Court Board. Following his first year of law school, Keith worked as a judicial extern for U.S. Magistrate Judge Wallace Dixon in the Middle District of North Carolina. During his second year of law school, Keith worked for U.S. District Court Judge Walter Kelley in the Eastern District of Virginia.

Mr. Richardson is licensed to practice law in the state of North Carolina. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association.
