Attorney Josh Price has more than a decade of legal experience in intellectual property matters. In his role at the Forrest Firm, Mr. Price assists clients with patent strategies, applications, freedom to operate opinions, infringement issues, and the drafting and negotiation of licensing and technology agreements.
Mr. Price began his career in 2002 at the law firm of Olive & Olive. After four years there, he owned and operated the Price Law Group until joining Syngenta Biotechnology as senior counsel in 2008. At Syngenta, Mr. Price advised senior management on a broad range of legal matters, including multi-party licensing and collaboration agreements, due diligence for strategic transactions, and capturing the maximum value of intellectual property.
Mr. Price received a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and biophysics from Oregon State University, a Master’s Degree in biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oregon School of Law.
A member of the North Carolina Bar, Mr. Price is admitted to practice before the Federal Courts of North Carolina, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
