Jennifer Hoverstad joined the Forrest Firm in an of counsel role in December of 2016. She leads technology-based initiatives for the firm, improving client experiences and work environments for Forrest Firm professionals. In her legal practice, she focuses on corporate and employment law matters. Ms. Hoverstad brings a wealth of experience in developing relationships and strategies for a diverse roster of companies, including Chick-fil-A, NC Craft Brewers Guild, and The Wolfpack Club.
Jennifer Hoverstad began her legal career at the Raleigh law firm of Rik Lovett & Associates in 2011, where she partnered directly with clients, from initial intake to post-trial, to represent their best interests against opposing parties. Since then, she has worked as a practicing lawyer and in several executive roles in the corporate sector, including human resources, compliance, marketing, and client service. Ms. Hoverstad recently founded and is the principal of Harvlee, a marketing consultancy collaborating with small to medium-sized businesses on digital marketing strategies.
Jennifer Hoverstad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management, with a concentration in marketing, from North Carolina State University and a Master of Science degree in sports studies from the University of Tennessee. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Elon University School of Law. Ms. Hoverstad has been admitted to the North Carolina Bar.
