Throughout his career as an accomplished real estate entrepreneur and investor, Jeffrey Fisher has facilitated more than $500 million in land transactions and generated over $250 million for land conservation.
Since 2005, Fisher has led Unique Places, LLC, a land conservation, restoration and management real estate consulting company with offices in Durham, Asheville, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Unique Places manages over 45,000 acres of land in North Carolina, making it one of the largest private land managers in the State of North Carolina, and exposing Mr. Fisher to a very wide array of complex real estate issues.
Before launching Unique Places LLC, Fisher served as Director of The Nature Conservancy’s Delta Project in Arkansas and as Executive Director of the Tar River Land Conservancy.
In his role as of counsel at the Forrest Firm, Mr. Fisher works with clients on real estate investment and transactional matters, with the ability to advise on projects of scale and complexity.
Jeffrey Fisher graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Law School of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and he also holds a Masters of Environmental Management Degree with a concentration in Economics from Duke University.
Mr. Fisher has been admitted to the North Carolina Bar.
