April 24, 2017 (Winston-Salem, NC) The Forrest Firm, a North Carolina-based business law firm and certified B Corporation, announces the addition of attorney Debra Ragin Jessup to its Winston-Salem/Triad office.
Now in its seventh year, the Forrest Firm is a provider of corporate legal services to businesses, non-profits, entrepreneurs and investors. Core practice areas include business formation, angel and venture financings, intellectual property, commercial real estate, employment, mergers and acquisitions, estate planning, tax, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution.
Attorney Debra Ragin Jessup brings a wide array of experience to the firm and is known for her versatility in applying the law in a variety of contexts. Ms. Jessup has practiced across multiple subject areas, served as an adjunct professor to undergraduate and graduate students teaching Business Law, served as the Director of Diversity for the Accountancy program at Wake Forest, and has provided employment related consulting services.
In her role at the Forrest Firm, Ms. Jessup primarily advises clients on estate planning, business/corporate, and employment law matters.
Ms. Jessup earned her bachelor’s degree in government from Georgetown University, followed by her law degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston-Salem.
